Photography has been a lifelong passion for Ryan, first as a constant hobby at home and in school, eventually leading him to complete a degree in Photo Media at the University of Sydney in 2012. After a year spent working with various freelance photographers around Sydney and completing design internship with House of Quirky/ Mink Pink, Ryan joined the Oneill & Page Team as an intern in late 2013.
At the start of 2014 Ryan began a full time role with us in our Studio. Every day has seen his skill and capabilities grow in all areas of the business and he looks forward to refining himself as both a photographer and digital artist.
After years of taking photos, it has become more than just a hobby or job for Ryan. Rather he sees it as a powerful way to engage with the world, both when shooting and when producing the finished images. He loves the places photography takes him, the new experiences he finds and the challenge of capturing and reflecting every moment as accurately and as beautifully as possible.
One Minute with Ryan:
What do you do in your spare time? I’m very much an adventurer at heart. I’m constantly finding new places to go and new things to eat, while dragging along new and old friends alike
What is your favourite sport? Do video games count? Although I don’t play sports games and I usually avoid anything competitive. I mostly play anything that has a good story
What is your guilty pleasure? Food, wine and Instagram
Any Last Words? Probably some quote from Jack Keroac’s ‘On the Road’. “The only people for me are the mad ones…” is a good one
